Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer", or "you") and CCBlueX, operated by Marco Beyer, Vahrenwalder Str. 269A, 30179 Hannover, Germany ("CCBlueX", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of Veil Obfuscator ("Veil") located at veil-obfuscator.com.

By creating an account, accessing the website, loading the application, or processing any Java archive (JAR) or class file through Veil Obfuscator, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease all access to and use of the service.

1. Scope of Service & Editions

Veil Obfuscator is a commercial Java bytecode protection and obfuscation suite offered at veil-obfuscator.com in two editions: a free Standard Browser Edition for interactive local browser use, and an unlocked Cloud & CI/CD Suite accessible via the authenticated Client Area and REST API. Veil transforms user-supplied Java Virtual Machine (JVM) bytecode using identifier renaming, control-flow transformation, constant and string encryption, arithmetic obfuscation, and startup integrity verification.

Subject to your continuous compliance with these Terms, CCBlueX grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to use Veil Obfuscator solely to protect Java archives for which you hold lawful intellectual property or distribution rights.

2. Intellectual Property & Strict Anti-Reverse-Engineering Clause

Veil Obfuscator, including its runtime binaries, client modules, cryptographic routines, bytecode transformation algorithms, runtime decryption stubs, user interface assets, and server-side components, is the exclusive proprietary technology and trade secret of CCBlueX and is protected by German copyright law (§§ 69a et seq. UrhG) and international intellectual property treaties.

You are strictly prohibited from engaging in, attempting, or assisting any third party in any of the following activities:

  • Reverse Engineering & Decompilation: Decompiling, disassembling, translating, reconstructing control flow, or otherwise reverse engineering any Veil Obfuscator binary, script, or runtime helper.
  • Binary Extraction & Dumping: Exporting, downloading, intercepting, dumping from browser memory, caching offline, or redistributing the Veil Obfuscator runtime modules, initialization scripts, or internal API payloads outside normal interactive browser execution.
  • Account & Key Sharing: Sharing account credentials, session tokens, API keys, or activation keys with unauthorized third parties.
  • Deobfuscator & Signature Development: Using Veil Obfuscator, its transformations, or its output artifacts to design, test, calibrate, or distribute automated deobfuscators, unpackers, signature scanners, or analysis tools targeting Veil Obfuscator transformations.
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Publishing performance benchmarks, transformation analysis, or comparative reverse-engineering studies of Veil Obfuscator without prior written authorization from CCBlueX.
  • Automated & Machine Learning Prohibition: Using automated systems, large language models (LLMs), neural networks, or machine learning pipelines to inspect, analyze, trace, reconstruct, or train models on Veil Obfuscator binaries, scripts, runtime stubs, or input/output bytecode pairs.

Any violation of this Section 2 constitutes a material breach of contract and an infringement of copyright and trade secrets, resulting in immediate account termination without refund and pursuit of civil injunctive relief, statutory damages, and criminal prosecution where applicable.

3. Acceptable Use & User Responsibilities

When using Veil Obfuscator, you represent, warrant, and covenant that:

  • Right to Process: You are the original author, copyright holder, or authorized licensee of every JAR file, class file, and library you submit to or process with Veil Obfuscator.
  • No Malware or Unlawful Code: You will not use Veil Obfuscator to obfuscate, conceal, pack, or distribute malware, ransomware, trojans, spyware, credential stealers, unauthorized remote access tools (RATs), exploit kits, or any software designed to unlawfully infiltrate, damage, or disrupt computer systems (§§ 202a, 202b, 303a, 303b StGB).
  • No Infrastructure Abuse: You will not attempt to bypass rate limits, probe server endpoints, conduct denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, or interfere with the security or availability of CCBlueX infrastructure.
  • Backup Obligation: Bytecode obfuscation performs irreversible structural transformations. You are solely responsible for maintaining un-obfuscated source code and binary backups, and for thoroughly testing protected JAR files in your target runtime environment before production deployment.

4. Ownership of Processed Output

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in your original input software. Provided you comply with these Terms, CCBlueX grants you a worldwide, royalty-free right to distribute the transformed output JAR generated for your lawful input archive, including any minimal runtime decryption or integrity-check stubs injected by Veil Obfuscator into that specific archive, solely as an integrated, inseparable part of your protected application.

5. Service Availability & Modifications

CCBlueX reserves the right to update, modify, restrict, or discontinue features or access tiers at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of veil-obfuscator.com and are not liable for maintenance downtime or external network disruptions.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

Veil Obfuscator is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While Veil Obfuscator applies advanced bytecode protection transformations, no obfuscation or software protection measure can guarantee absolute immunity against determined reverse engineering. CCBlueX makes no representations or warranties that protected bytecode will remain impenetrable, compatible with every JVM agent or custom classloader, or free from runtime defects.

7. Limitation of Liability

Under German law, CCBlueX shall be liable without limitation only for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for damages caused by intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).

In cases of slight negligence (leichte Fahrlässigkeit), CCBlueX shall only be liable for the breach of a material contractual obligation (Kardinalpflicht), the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper execution of these Terms and on the observance of which you regularly rely. In such cases, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage at the time of entering into the agreement. Any further liability, particularly for lost profits, corrupted archives, data loss, or third-party claims arising from your distribution of protected software, is excluded.

8. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Severability

Governing Law
These Terms and all legal relations between you and CCBlueX are governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Place of Jurisdiction
If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law, or have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be Hannover, Germany.
Severability
Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provision under German law.
